On Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 WID-PC will be hosting the talented and well known Andre from Art With Andre at the ever-popular Hanahan, SC venue, LG's by the Creek. We will be painting for a cause to raise proceeds four our annual STEM Scholarship awards. We'll be painting a variation of the pictured sunset beach and the American flag in honor of Memorial Day as well as our cause - supporting national defense, security, and our military service members. We'll be hosting a 50/50 raffle and you may have a chance to win other raffle prizes! Remember, all proceeds raised by this event will be going into our fund so we can help women scholars to continue their education pursuits. Be sure to get your ticket early as we're expecting them to sell out. We are capped at 60 participants! ________________________________ The Women in Defense Palmetto Chapter (WID-PC), based in Charleston, S.C., was founded March 13, 2009. Our goal is to provide networking and professional development opportunities to promote advancement and recognition of women in national defense and security, to support military service members, and to encourage partnerships between the local contractor community and Department of Defense agencies. WID-PC established the Palmetto STEM Scholarship Fund to encourage women in South Carolina to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) related to the national security and defense interests of the United States.
