Mother's Day weekend just got more special...Mother's day is a time to honor our mothers for being so special. What better way than to attend the Mother's Day Festival Weekend beginning with the Voices Of Soul on Saturday May 13; and the grand finale on Sunday May 14, starring the platinum recording sensation Keith Washington. Sunday Mother's Day Brunch listening to Keith Washington in the beautiful River Walk Park nestled on the Sacramento River is the perfect way to honor our mothers. Keith will bring his romance to the stage along with co-star the great Dee Dee Simon, a 35 time Black Music Awards winner as best singer and known as the best singer in America. Sunday's show also features Sacramento legends Foe Deep performing songs of the Stylistics, Ojays and more; plus, world renown singer Les Franklin who will serenade with his Teddy Pendergrass tribute; then the MDP party band from Stockton will get you dancing. Sunday Mother's Day Tribute will also honor 10 great mothers with the annual Monique Nelson Most Outstanding Mothers (MOMS) Awards for inspiration and leadership. Everything from "Pappa Was A Rolling Stone," "My Girl," "Treat Her Like A Lady," Just My Imagination," and the songs you know and love are part of what these amazing entertainers bring to the stage.
