NAPSA Workshop 2023 #CaregiverStrong Attend, network and learn from primate and sanctuary experts as we explore topics from the practical to the theoretical – all to ensure the highest quality of care for captive nonhuman primates, and appreciation for those who care for them. NAPSA's 2023 Workshop is being held in Atlanta, Georgia, "the city not too busy to care!" Workshop presentations will take place on May 16th and 17th at The Whitley hotel. Registration includes vegan breakfast and coffee and snack breaks on both days. All food at NAPSA events is vegan and vegetarian. You will be on your own for meals, but dining suggestions will be provided. There are a number of optional events occurring before and after Workshop presentations. You will need tickets to attend all optional events. These events are not included in your standard registration, so please make sure to select these items if you would like to participate. Availability will be limited. Detailed information on these events can be found by clicking "More Info" for each event listed above. May 15th - Complimentary drinks reception at the hotel. This will run from 5-7pm at the in the Legacy Ballroom of The Whitley. You will be given a ticket for one free drink, and you will be responsible for purchasing any additional drinks during this reception. Note that tickets for this event must be purchased by May 2nd, no exceptions.May 17th - Recognition Dinner at the hotel. Fee of $25. This will be at 6pm in the Legacy Ballroom I of The Whitley. This will be a multi-course vegan meal and awards ceremony. Note that tickets for this event must be purchased by May 2nd, no exceptions.May 18th - Complimentary tour and lunch at Project Chimps. Transportation will be provided. Limited to 50 people. Please note you must purchase a Workshop ticket and reserve a tour ticket in order to participate in the event. The bus will leave the hotel at 7am and return around 3pm. We will enjoy a vegan lunch while at the sanctuary, thanks to Project Chimps! Workshop tickets must be purchased by May 7th.
