Come listen, dance, eat and mingle, and enjoy a night of great music. This wonderful family-friendly outdoor event gives ALL communities an opportunity to experience live konpa music at its best. Tabou Combo is a konpa band that was founded in 1968 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The band has performed throughout the world (North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and especially in the Carribean) Tabou Combo was the first Haitian band to perform in Japan, Ivory Coast, Senegal among others. Sounds of Little Haiti (SOLH) host a fun family-friendly event every 3rd Friday of the month. SOLH is an immersive cultural expeirence in the heart of downtown Little Haiti. This outdoor event is an opportunity for Haitian diaspora, local Miamians and tourist to celebrate authentication culture and its influence on the local community.
