MetaMovements is a collective of artists who have been teaching and producing Latin Dance events in the Boston and New York areas for more than 15 years, and whose work has been deeply impacted by the dance, music and culture of Cuba, where the roots of Salsa around the world are traced back to. On Thursday May 18, 2023 MetaMovements will bring their energy and love for Salsa to The Substation! 7PM: Doors and bar open! The Substation will be selling beer, wine, hard seltzers, and snacks 7:15-8PM: 45 minute Beginner Salsa dance lesson 8-10:30PM: Salsa Social with music curated by DJ Rob Suave, Follow along dance lines for all to participate regardless of dance level and the music corner is open for all who want to learn to play along with the music.
