Join us for an evening of Chinese chamber music, featuring a captivating blend of traditional and contemporary pieces based on Chinese traditional instruments Guzheng and Guqin. We will start with a selection of Chinese classical pieces, including "Charm of Han River," a representative piece of Henan folk music. We will later show the beauty of Chinese modern chamber music including adapted western music style "Passacaglia", which was created in the 17th century in Spain. Throughout the concert, our performers will demonstrate their exceptional skill and artistry, weaving together intricate melodies and harmonies to create a rich and evocative tapestry of sound. They will also share the stories and traditions behind the music, giving you a deeper understanding of the cultural significance and historical context of each piece.
