Description

In mid-October 2022, Sarah had to go to the hospital because her pregnancy was very difficult, she could not eat, and was not healthy enough to give birth. She was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer adenocarcinoma, and had a c-section and surgery at the same time to deliver her baby and remove a tumor larger than the baby, as well as another tumor in her bowel tract. Recovery was very difficult. Sarah and her husband own their own business, and have 8 children. Recovery was very slow, and Sarah had increasing difficulty eating, and continually lost weight. The cancer had been very aggressive in attacking her stomach, and just after her 18th wedding anniversary, Sarah received a terminal diagnosis; due to the rate at which the cancer had metastasized, she had less than 6 months to live. On March 12, Sarah passed away. Our hope is to raise enough funds to pay off medical expenses, pay for burial costs, bereavement counseling for the Grant family, and other costs associated with this tragedy. The Grant family has had a lot of tragedy in the last few years. Sarah lost her brother in 2018, and her daughter Emma in 2019. We thank every one of you for the generosity you have shown in the past and present, both in financial aid and in prayer. May God bless you! Donations can be accepted by contacting Roxanne Ferguson, and will be accepted the night of the event.
