Event format: 30 minute chat, followed by audience Q&A and book signing!
About the authors:
Ruth Madievsky is the author of a novel, "All-Night Pharmacy" (Catapult, 2023) and a bestselling poetry collection, "Emergency Brake." Her work appears in The Atlantic, The Los Angeles Times, Harper's Bazaar, Tin House, Kenyon Review, Ploughshares, Them, and elsewhere. She is originally from Moldova and lives in Los Angeles, where she works as an HIV and primary care pharmacist.
Mina Seçkin is the author of The Four Humors (Catapult, 2021). She serves as managing editor of Apogee Journal and completed her MFA at Columbia University, where she received the Felipe De Alba Fellowship as well as her bachelor degree. Her work has been published in Refinery 29, McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, The Rumpus, and elsewhere.
Jean Kyoung Frazier is a writer living in Los Angeles. Pizza Girl is her debut novel. She also writes for television.
Nazlı Koca is a writer born and raised on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. She moved to the US five years ago by way of Berlin, Germany. Her first novel, The Applicant, was published by Grove Press in February 2023.
