Enjoy a festive evening of film, food, and fun while supporting Breast Cancer Prevention Partners and local charities. If you can't attend in person, Watch at Home tickets give you access to the films for 24 hours. 6:00 p.m. Doors Open. Enjoy a drink and meet up with old and new friends and shop our boutique featuring companies that care deeply about your health and wellness 6:30 p.m. Dinner   7:15 p.m. Cancer Prevention Tips and Healthy Food Choices 7:30 p.m. Popcorn and Film Screening LUNAFEST: San Jose 2023 features award-winning short films by and about women. (See a full list of the films) And the evening includes delicious food and drink. Standard seating is included with all tickets, but as in past years, luxury “Living Room” seating will be auctioned to the highest bidder.  LUNAFEST San Jose 2023 continues to honor Lani Luthard, a longtime member of San Jose Women’s Club and local cancer prevention activist. Lani first hosted LUNAFEST at her home in 2009 and at the SJWC beginning in 2011 because of its success. This year the SJWC is hosting the event in honor of Lani. Representatives from Breast Cancer Prevention Partners will speak before the films are shown and offer helpful takeaways for how you can make simple changes in your daily life to prevent cancer. PCRM will provide preventive medicine information and fill us in on the latest studies in clinical research. All proceeds from LUNAFEST San Jose 2023, including the boutique, raffle and auctions, will benefit Breast Cancer Prevention Partners  and the SJWC Charitable Giving Program, which funds local charities including San Jose Day Nursery and Next Door Solutions.
