Ken began his professional career in retail pharmacy in 1981. He worked for major retail pharmacy chains for over 19 years until 2000. Ken then moved into the managed care division of Anthem, BSBC and United Health Care and is a subject matter expert in: mail/ retail pharmacy, clinical programs, specialty pharmacy, health plan, hospital systems and employer group sales. Ken graduated from The University of Kansas with Bachelors in Pharmacy from the University of Kansas in 1989. Additionally, he holds a Pharmacist Care Diplomat Credential, from the National Institute for Pharmacist Care Outcomes. R. Edward Johnson, ASA, MAAA, ACA Senior Vice President, Practice Leader for Health & Welfare Actuarial Consulting Edward Johnson has more than 18 years of experience working as a Healthcare Actuary, most recently as the Practice Leader for McGriff Insurance Services Actuarial and Underwriting Services. Edward’s experience covers actuarial work for both fully insured and self-insured groups and his expertise ranges from individual products, Medicare products, as well as underwriting and ancillary products, such as dental. Edward is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics. He also holds an Associate designation with the Society of Actuaries (ASA), and has been a member of the American Academy of Actuaries since 2008.
