OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City's annual celebration that honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be held through a virtual ceremony on Monday at 1 p.m. The ceremony includes music, prayer and reflections on Dr. King, the honoring of Ocean City residents with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Services Award and a recitation of Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech by the Rev. Gregory Johnson. The public can view the ceremony on the city's website at any time after 1 p.m. Jan. 18 or on OCTV-97 at 1 p.m. Jan. 18, 9 p.m. Jan. 19, 7 p.m. Jan. 20, 12 p.m. Jan. 21 or 10 a.m. Jan. 23.
