Tanya has been doing hair in the Twin Cities since 2000. The majority of those years she has been an educator and leader for two luxury salon companies. Tanya specializes in cutting all hair types for all humans and is an expert with razor cutting, curly hair, detailed short cuts and sleek geometric shapes. She is inspired by art, architecture, earth, out of the box ideas and people’s individuality. The future of the planet and our collective health is something she is passionate about and infuses into her work behind the chair. She loves doing transformation haircuts and helping guests achieve the hair that helps them appear as they feel. Taking chances, trying new things, and bringing “crazy” ideas to life is what keeps her motivated. Tanya is developing a one on one education experience for stylists looking to learn in an intimate setting. She enjoys creating avant-garde hair with wigs and headpieces for photo shoots, collaborations with local artists, and industry competitions. Students will learn how to see their work behind the chair as multi dimensional, how they can use one shape for many looks, create content, and build their business. They will also learn how to play with hair accessories and pieces to play with creativity to keep them passionate in their careers.
