This magical hands-on experience is perfect for kids and families who've been wanting to create their own enchanted fairy garden. Using wood doors, paint, moss, sticks, and other provided materials, kids will design and decorate their own miniature fairy door—and accompanying toadstool—to take home. Heather Harrington, artist and Fairy Trails creator from the Life and Whim Studio, will guide your child through the whimsical process of creating a magical fairy door, sparking creativity and imagination in young and old alike. About the Instructor Heather Harrington is a passionate maker and creator who finds joy and inspiration in the beautiful outdoors of northern Michigan and incorporates that love into her work. Her playful, expressive style portrays the happiness she finds in the small details of life in her hometown of Traverse City. Since launching Life and Whim in 2016, Heather has focused much of her energy on creating fun community events such as the Traverse City Fairy Trails, and Traverse City Street Pianos, and designing northern Michigan-inspired products. She believes that the act of creating cultivates community and happiness. Heather recently opened her art studio in Traverse City at 525 S.
