Come relieve your burnout in this 2-hour therapeutic based workshop that integrates yoga and psychology! The World Health Organization classified burnout as an occupational phenomena in 2019. It is defined as a "syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed." Burn out is more than simply feeling stressed or overworked. It is a psychological syndrome that forms as a prolonged response to chronic stressors on the job or even other areas of your life. Whether you are formally burnt out or not, this workshop will leave you feeling fully inspired and restored! Common signs of Burnout: - Feelings of exhaustion, depletion or lack of energy - a sense of cynicism, irritability, or withdrawal towards work or activities - a low sense of personal efficacy or reduced productivity or capability to work/do what you normally do Burnout is mental and physical. Thus in order to fully understand, relieve, and integrate in new energy one must get into the deeper layers of self. Amanda Baker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a 500hr Registered Yoga Instructor with speciality training in yoga psychology. Come to better understand burnout, assess your own, and learn specific movement based strategies and interventions to support your soul. This workshop will include psychoeducation, breathwork, meditation, somatic experiencing, and yoga! You will also receive a FREE guided journal that you will get to start during the workshop and continue after the workshop to assist in your healing journey.
