Hi there! We are extremely excited to have our first Spring Blood Drive since the COVID-19 Pandemic! Unfortunately, the blood shortage in Washington State has been consistently low for months on end- some hospitals only having a day's worth of supply. Which is why we need your help! This will be our third blood drive with Bloodworks NW, and we are so incredibly grateful to have them back with us. They do a tremendous job! In order to donate you have to meet three requirements: 18+ years of age (if you are 16-17 you can donate with parent permission)110+ lbs In good health If you meet these requirements (and turned in your form if you're under 18) you can reserve a time slot by getting a "ticket". Parent permission slips are available in Ms. Hemrich's Room 140 or here! Note: you should arrive to the RHS AUX Gym at least 15 minutes earlier than your slotted time and please clear at least an hour in your schedule after your time slot. We would like to give a few special shoutouts to the RHS Graphic Design classes and RHS Baking & Pastry classes as they have provided us with infograhpics and yummy treats! The logistics on what to do after signing up will be listed below, and more information will be sent to you as the event nears.
