Description

ESEs are responsible for the evaluation of skills in initial EMR and EMT programs, as well as during DOH approved OTEP courses. Candidates for ESE must have completed at least one full recertification cycle (3+ years) and must demonstrate proficiency in the skills they will be evaluating. An ESE my be employed by a training organization or institution (i.e. college or technical school), and many organizations offer additional wages or promotional opportunities to ESEs. Please check with your local training organization or employer to see if this applies to you. This ESE course is eight hours long, and combines lecture, hands-on skills demonstration, and team activities. Please dress accordingly. A lunch break will be given, however, participants are urged to be self-sufficient in taking care of their own food/beverage needs.
