Join us at Fitz Books and Waffles on Saturday, May 13, 2:00 pm for a screening and discussion with Buffalo's own Tammy McGovern. Tammy McGovern is a new media artist who makes films, video, interactive installations, and experimental web environments. Her work has been included in shows at Hallwalls, Squeaky Wheel, Visual Studies Workshop, UB Poetics Wed@4 Series, E-Poetry Digital Literature Festivals, Schwienfurth Memorial Art Center, Clifford Art Gallery, and the Malaysian Institute of Art. From 2004-2012, she was the Assistant Director and Director of Education at Squeaky Wheel Film & Media Art Center and has taught courses in web, media, and graphic production at Buffalo State College since 2014. Recently, Tammy completed her MFA in Electronic Integrated Arts at Alfred University in 2021. This event is brought to you through volunteer work.
