Building Coherence with the Math PactK–8 Instructional Leaders are invited to join the MCMI coaches to discuss ways to build coherence and consistency across grade levels. Karen Karp, prolific math education author and author of the book series the Math Pact, will set the stage for these essential conversations, and then the group will collaboratively develop ways to motivate and support teachers as they establish norms for collaborative conversations, so educators agree upon language, routines, and ways of representing mathematical reasoning across the grade levels.
