Threadfair Fashion Show provides a platform for aspiring young designers, models, and makeup artists to collaborate on original collections expressing their individual aesthetics and passions. Austin ISD high-school students also lead in all aspects of planning and staging the event. Students debut their collections and each designer receives feedback from the judges with the top three designers being awarded prizes. The Threadfair Fashion Show will take place on Sunday, May 7th. The show will begin at 10:30 am. The Threadfair Management Team expects the exhibit to last 90 mins at most. Threadfair Charity Fashion Show offers students a unique opportunity to contribute to Dress for Success Austin. All of the proceeds from the show, ticket sales, and silent auction are donated to the Dress for Success nonprofit. – About Dress for Success Austin – Dress for Success Austin is a nonprofit that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools to help them thrive in work and in life.
