Let us honor and celebrate YOU! You are invited to Black Men United's11th Annual Mother's Day Luncheon for bereaved moms and grandma's, brothers and sisters, aunts and cousins and their families who have lost a child to violence. We are asking Omaha that in honor of our mothers and grandmothers that there be No Murders In May! Mothers Day was originally created in honor of a bereaved mother way back in 1908. A womans love for her deceased child never dies, nor does her motherhood. We will be honored to celebrate you on Saturday May 6, 2023 Again, this year we are so happy to announce that Ms. Clarice Jackson has agreed to be our Mistress of Ceremonies. Our special guest speaker is Ms. Jackie Robbins, co-founder of The Rib Shack restaurant in Omaha. Jackie and her husband Malcolm tragically lost their son Malcom Jr in St Louis Missouri last year. Jackie is 1st black female pit-master in Nebraska. She is a St Louis Mo native. She prides herself on community service work and support, using the restaurant as a platform to impact the community which they fed over a 1000 homeless people, provided toiletries, coats, socks, shoes and provided jobs to the homeless community. Every year we honor 2 moms who have devoted their lives not only to their families but also to help make Omaha a better place to live, work and play for you, your families and friends. This year we are honoring Ms. Vickey Parks and Ms. Cheryl Weston. Please make your free reservations today. Enjoy a wonderful buffet luncheon amongst friends and families.
