Want safer streets for our community? Need a way beyond a personal automobile to get to work, school, the park, or to run errands? Want to work with your neighbors and community leaders to bring about change? Join us as we get change rolling! These are community gatherings to discuss transportation and mobility opportunities and challenges in Elgin, with a special focus on walking/rolling, biking, and public transportation. We will work toward identifying common opportunities and challenges that the gathered coalition will be work together to formulate solutions and actions to pursue. Through the support of Elevating Equity, we are able to provide food and childcare during these community meetings. Bring your own experience, creativity, and collaborative spirit as we work together to making Elgin a happier, healthier, and more equitable community to move about in!
