PepsiCo’s Rolling Remembrance, a 14,000 mile-relay of an American flag from Seattle to New York to raise awareness and encourage donations for the Children of Fallen Patriots foundation, will be making a stop at the Waverly Bojangles. To honor the brand’s commitment to supporting the military and celebrate this noteworthy relay, Bojangles will throw a patriotic tailgate party, complete with live country music, veteran group meetups and of course, made-from-scratch chicken and biscuits. Following the Rolling Remembrance truck’s arrival, guests can enjoy a national anthem performance, presenting of the colors and speeches from famed actor Andy Garcia, the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation’s Corporate Development Officer Stephen Smith and Ken Reynolds, executive director of the Bojangles Foundation Fund. Throughout the day, the participating Bojangles location will be donating a portion of its sales to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, with the Bojangles Foundation matching the amount donated.
