Join us for a fun day of volunteering to celebrate Earth Month! During the event, volunteers will help construct approximately 9 pre-fabricated raised garden beds. They will then fill the beds with soil and plant perennial native wildflowers. We will use Tree Diaper garden mats to ensure watering is appropriate during the hot summer months. In addition to these tasks, the volunteers will help gather and dispose of the litter than often gathers around these vacant spaces. Meeting Point: Believe Academy sign, main walkway off of Corry Rd Please remember to: Wear Sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots with good traction. Long pants and long-sleeved shirts to protect your skin from scratches and insect bites. Layers of clothing appropriate for the weather conditions. A hat or cap to protect your head and face from the sun. Bring A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
