Community Conversations with Emory Parkinson’s Disease Researchers
Join Parkinson's disease researchers at Emory University for the 13th annual Udall Center Community Conversations event on Saturday, May 6th, 2023. The event will be held at Emory’s Brain Health Center (click 'View Map' on the right). Registration opens at 8:30 am.
The 2023 event will feature a series of discussions in which groups of attendees will have the opportunity to discuss current Parkinson’s disease research topics with Emory scientists. This year's topics will include:
Skin Biopsy Tests to Diagnose Parkinson's Disease New Developments in Deep Brain StimulationBlood and Spinal Fluid Tests to Determine the Risk for Dementia in Parkinson's DiseaseThe group sessions will be followed by a lunchtime presentation by:
Laura Volpicelli-Daley, PhD, Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Alabama Panel Discussion with small-group discussion leaders and Dr. Volpicelli-Daley, moderated by Stewart Factor, DO*The event is free, but registration is required because seating is limited. Lunch will be provided, and free parking is available close to the meeting location.
