We are celebrating National Start Seeing Monarchs Day at this week's Kids Club at Bella Terra! Join us on the green as welcome Environmental Nature Center 's traveling naturalist for an interactive storytelling of the monarch butterfly's migration. Attendees will transform into a butterfly and go on its life journey, discovering similarities and differences between other animals along the way. Children will get to meet and touch live animals. Each year in the first week of May, National Start Seeing Monarchs Day raises awareness to preserve the Monarch butterfly and prevent it from being added to the endangered species list. This event is free of charge and open to the public; registration is required to receive craft materials Sunscreen and/or protective hat recommend due to the venue being outside. WHY RSVP? So we have enough craft supplies for everyone! Must register before 8:00 PM the evening prior to the event.
