You are invited to join Yemanjo on Saturday April 29th at Corazon Performing Arts in Topanga Canyon for a night of live music. His unique sound blends original, downtempo tracks with house beats, vocals, instruments, and much influence (and respect) for the traditional sounds of Latin America, Africa, & the Middle East. Yemanjo offers a dynamic performance, singing in 3 languages and alternating between multiple instruments; all while mixing a hybrid DJ set! At any given moment he may be blowing on the trumpet, tickling the keys, banging the drums, or playing the strings. He truly is a performer and instrumentalist like no other! Vandana Hart, creator and host of We Speak Dance, a global movement, Netflix series and social impact platform, will start the night by guiding us through "The Mermaid Dance". The Mermaid Dance is an invitation to move together for our waters, inspiring change through music and dance. It uses simple movements from 100 world cultures to celebrate the sacred waters.
