You are cordially invited to the GHSA Boys State Championship tournament kickoff cookout on Sunday, May 21 , 2023. The cookout will be held at Cartersville Country Club and will kick off at 6:00 PM. This is a fun family event that will feature delicious food, music, and a putting contest. We welcome all players, coaches, and volunteers to attend free of charge. However, we kindly request that all other adults purchase tickets for $23.50, children aged 6-12 can purchase tickets for $12.50, and children under 5 can attend free of charge. Please note that tickets must be purchased in advance by Wednesday, May 17, 2023. The food will be mouthwatering and will include pulled pork barbecue with IPA barbecue sauce, pulled smoked chicken with 'Bama-style white sauce, cowboy baked beans, and macaroni and cheese. Additionally, we will have Cajun-style coleslaw, loaded baked potato salad, fresh watermelon, and gold pineapple. To satisfy your sweet tooth, we will have brownie and blondie bites as well as house-made traditional 'Nilla wafer banana pudding.
