Hazelwood Tree ID Walk and Planting

Description

We will meet at Lytle Land playground at 10am to begin the Tree ID Walk and take a leisurely walk through the neighborhood with Tree Pittsburgh looking at some of the trees that have been planted in the parklets and along the streets. The tour will stop at the Hazelwood Carnegie Library for a brief bathroom break and then walk back to the playground to begin the tree planting at around 11:15am. The University of Pittsburgh's Community engagement team will provide a pizza lunch for participants. (Due to Hazelwood's location, it often does not receive as much rain as is predicted--or the rain comes later in the afternoon than predicted.)
