Thursday, May 4 @ 6 p.m. The artist’s grandson Paul Bongé spent his childhood learning and working on art alongside the woman who has been heralded as Mississippi’s first modern artist. Paul will share candid memories of his famous grandmother, as well as his singular perspective on the art in the galleries. He will be joined by Dr. Ligia M. Romer, the Executive Director of the Dusti Bongé Art Foundation, who will speak about the artist’s current popularity in the international art world.
