Join instructor Melissa Harris in this class that focuses on one of her most favorite plants, yarrow. It is abundant in the area and used for numerous ailments from reducing fevers to stopping bleeding. She will show participants how to identify this plant and teach them how to make an all natural bug repellent and a first aide salve that is great to carry on all outdoor adventures.

About the instructor, Melissa Harris: I have been fascinated with nature since I was a little girl. For the last 18 years or so, I have found a special interest in plants, particularly the healing properties of wild plants. Over the years I have taken many courses, and my hobby has become a true passion. I am always studying and growing my knowledge of plant medicine.
