Mark your calendars! We hope you can join fellow Madison PR pros on May 18th from 9 am - 10 am for a panel presentation on what print and digital media editors look for in pitches, sources and collaborations. Kelly Lecker with the Wisconsin State Journal and Jason Joyce with Isthmus Magazine will join us as they offer their expertise and experience on getting your story out to the masses. Coffee and pastries will be provided. Come with your questions; there will be a Q&A after the panel. BIO'S Kelly Lecker Kelly Lecker has been the executive editor of the Wisconsin State Journal since April 2022. It was a homecoming of sorts, as she grew up on a dairy farm in northeast Wisconsin and the State Journal sent her to the national spelling bee in 1985. Before her return to Wisconsin, Kelly worked as a reporter, editor and digital news manager at papers in Fort Wayne, Ind., Toledo and more recently Columbus, Ohio. In Columbus, she served as managing editor and interim editor and led several nationally recognized reporting projects.
