Description

If you ask most Christians what the Bible says about the local church, they'd probably say, "Not much." They'd give a hearty thumbs-up to preaching and singing. They'd agree that baptism and the Lord's Supper belong somewhere. And then . . . well, they'd probably give a half-hearted shrug to much anything else. But is that really it? Or does the Bible actually have a lot more to say about the church and how it functions? Does the Bible really explain how church leadership is supposed to work, or how church leaders and the congregation are supposed to relate? Does it really take a stand on whether or not a church can have multiple services or even multiple locations? Does it care that much if a pastor is a man or a woman? The goal of this first-ever Building Healthy Churches conference is to help Christians see that the Bible really does say a lot about the local church—and what it says is really important. We hope you'll join us.
