This 3-day series is designed to provide training to those interested in working as a teacher's aide in a special education setting, working with amazing students, and as a part of a highly effective team. This is a 3-Day In-Person Bootcamp, each day of the training will start at 8:30AM and end at 11:30AM. Plan to attend June 12th through June 14th. The trainings will cover the following topics: Program Overview: Understand the role of the Paraeducator and being a part of an effective classroom team.Positive Behavioral Supports: Develop an understanding of how positive behavioral supports improve access to learning.Communication Skills: Learn typical milestones for language development and strategies to support students with difficulties in expressive, receptive and social language.Special Education Paraeducator Bootcamp will be in-person at Marin County Office of Education: 1111 Las Gallinas Ave, San Rafael, CA 94903.
