Description

Carthage enjoys a celebrated athletics history and a reputation for competitive success. Through our 28 varsity teams, we develop student-athletes known for academic focus, championship performances, and leadership and service to others. This year, more than 750 student-athletes competed for Carthage. We are especially proud of our conference champions, including women’s volleyball, Joseph White (indoor track and field; shot put and weight throw), and women’s bowling (regular season and conference tournament). Additionally, Carthage sent Craig Hundley II (men’s cross country), Aubrey Schoeneman (women’s track and field), Chase Upmann (men’s track and field), Alex Jarvis (men’s track and field), Joseph White (men’s track and field), four women’s wrestlers (Natalie Majer, Bentley Hills, Nadia Flores, and Sierra Pienkowski), and Women’s Bowling to their respective NCAA National Championships. Joseph White won national championships in the indoor shot put and weight throw, also earning All-American honors in both events as a result.
