Black Americans hold 4 percent of the U.S. wealth and make up only 13 percent of the population—while White Americans hold 84 percent of total U.S. wealth but make up 60 percent of the population. Being one of the largest consumer groups, it shows that we as black Americans have no problem spending money but don't know how to properly manage our finances. Does the idea that the average black household will have a zero dollar net worth alarm you? Well, I encourage you to come out and discuss how we can get Black Wall-Street back. This night will be a chance for us to address the horrors of our past and move forward with a solid action plan to increase the black wealth.
