We are thrilled to announce that we will be holding an exclusive Filmmaking workshop that will be taught by Oscar-winning director & producer Megan Mylan! As part of her visit to Tampa and our film society, she will be focusing on the making of short films as well as showing one of her very own shorts! Megan will be diving deep into the world of filmmaking and focusing on how to make a short film, all the techniques, skills, secrets of the industry and more! This work-shop is an excellent exploration into the language of cinema and the tools of filmmaking. On the same night we will also be showing Megan's documentary, "Simple As Water" followed by a Q&A session with her after the show, at 7PM. Tickets can be purchased separately.
