Description
I am so excited to be returning to Marshall and sharing my work with sound! As a child growing up in Battle Creek, a magical evening in Marshall or a Saturday afternoon excursion there brings back a flood of happy memories that I shared with my parents. Then I grew up and moved away, only to return to Michigan twenty years later, but now, with sound therapy. I am so excited to be sharing this with you. Please accept this invitation for you to make space for yourself. To find rest and reprieve in the sound and its vibrations. To give yourself the opportunity to let go, to connect to the space where your inner peace resides, where your true-self waits patiently. Offer yourself time to settle in, to simply be and allow your body to receive what it needs. I would love for you to join me in finding that place of rest, a place to recover and a place to heal your physical, emotional and energetic bodies while the room is filled with sound. During the Sound Immersion, various instruments such as Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls and gongs (and so much more), will fill the space, allowing you to move into a state of deep relaxation. In this place, you body is offered the opportunity to release stress, relax, and shift your frequencies, raising your vibrations. And a big thanks and tons of appreciation to Katy Devine and Devine & Company for supporting this event and sharing their space. Attendees are asked to bring their own props. I suggest, at a minimum, a yoga mat and two blankets. I also encourage bringing a pillow, knee support, an eye pillow and warm layers, including socks. Anything and everything you need to relax. Comfort is most important. You can choose to lay on the floor or be seated, then you may close your eyes and let the sounds carry you to where you need to go. Investment: $50 (does not include the Evenbrite fee) ***No Refunds as space is limited Wondering who I am? About Kara: A seeker by nature, Kara laughed when sound therapy found her (and not vice versa) shortly after returning to her home state of Michigan after nearly 20 years away. Universe, you are hilarious. A retreat and circle facilitator, writer and mom of plenty (okay, four), Kara began her studies in 2019 under Julie Chase of Wind Willow Sound Health. Kara incorporates tuning forks, Tibetan singing bowls and crystal bowls to bring the body into a deep state of relaxation, allowing the body to rest, recover and heal. Kara offers both individual sessions and group sessions and loves sharing this experience with others in her studio in Kalamazoo, Michigan. You can find more here: www.karamarkovich.com
