2021 Black History Month Spades Tournament! Are you good at playing spades? The Queen City Spades Tournament is going down this February (Black History Month). Bring your partner and take home the cash prize! The entry fee is $50 per team and the winning team will win $200 cash minimum. This is a bracketed tournament with single elimination. This is a three week tournament! Round 1 (2/5/2021) 7pm-10pmRound 2 (2/19/2021) 7pm-10pmRound 3 (2/28/2021) 2pm-4pm Championship RoundTournament Rules: Each team will register two playersEarly registrations have a possibility at a bye weekGame is 250Dealer will deal 13 cards to each playerThe 2 of hearts and clubs will be removed from the gameNo talking across the tableSpades (Trump): Big Joker, Little Joker, 2, A, K, Q, J (etc)No throwing the hand inBlind bidding is allowed if you are losing by 100 or more pointsThe minimum bid per team is 4Spades can only lead a hand once they have been cut (broken)You CANNOT put down and pick up a card. All plays are finalBooks made must be laid out and not stackedIf any cheating is caught you are automatically disqualifiedBags (extra books) are tallied by 1. Once you make 10 bags you are deducted 100 pointsNo switching partners.
