Description

Writing a short play is a great way for theatre people or writers in other genres to get acquainted with playwriting. This 2 day workshop (Fri. 6:30-8pm, Sat. 10am-1pm) will review the essential elements of dramatic writing in general, and the specific conventions of the short play. Participants will have written an initial draft of a short play by the conclusion of the workshop. Finished plays will be considered for CBMT's Short Play Festival, to take place in August 2023.
