College Search and Selection Workshop: Creating Your Best-Fit List
College admissions become more competitive every year with even some state flagships reporting single-digit admission percentages for popular majors. Creating a balanced and best-fit college list is a challenge for most students and is an important jumping-off point for a successful application process. Join Educational Consultant Jennifer Lund to examine the best practices in designing a college list that will lead to excellent options for your student. We will discuss specific case studies from the past few years that will shed light on how your student can align their talents with a terrific college and provide opportunities for them to make the most of their experience at that college. As the old saying goes, "College is a match to be made, not a prize to be won." This workshop will focus on creating a list to make that match.
With over twelve years of experience advising families about the college admissions process, Jennifer Lund provides structured and timely guidance through all parts of the journey. As an Educational Consultant with Laura George Consulting, Jennifer partners with your family, seeking to understand the special and unique gifts your student possesses. Guiding students through each facet of the college process is Jennifer's strength, whether it be College Search and Selection, Scholarship Search and Selection, or helping your child through the Common Application. Jennifer works closely with students to ensure they maximize their potential as they navigate their own individual path to their best-fit college.
