***FAMILY FRIENDLY*** Volunteer numbers for this project are based on adults and children ages 10 and older. Younger children are encouraged to attend with their parents but registration is NOT needed for any child 9 and under. What sort of work will I be doing? LANDSCAPING: Weed planting areas and spread mulch, Trim bushes & shrubs around buildings, Throw away old damaged and broken toys and play areas on the property, Place mulch in all flower beds around the buildings of JV1 and JV2, & Replace/fix the stone patio on first floor (see photos) CLEANING: Wash windows in vestibule and common areas, Deep clean tile and grout in main entrance, Vacuum and shampoo all hallway and computer room carpets, Vacuum and scrub/clean stairs in the main stair well, Power wash main entry, & Power wash and fix outdoor benches and picnic tables. (see photos) CARPENTRY: Stain and repair the play ground: remove and replace rotted wood, stain the wood, attach rock climbing holds to the climbing wall, and place new playground mulch in the area.
