Greetings CRP Space Cadets! What another great year of CRPing in the books. And such a great year can only be celebrated with an equally great prom! Don't worry, this prom is nothing like the cringey event we all suffered through in high school -- it's a cool adult parody of it (we are cool and ironic, after all)! This event is meant to celebrate you, so celebrate it however you like and feel no need to dress a certain attire (although we have a theme we encourage everyone to dress to and have fun with). As the CRP (Community and Regional Promming) Committee, we want to open up a space (hehe) for all of us to enjoy each others' company and applaud our work from the year. Date: May 1, 2023 Time: 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm Venue: Moontower Cider Company (indoor and outdoor space) Address: 1916 Tillery Street, Austin, TX 78702 Theme: Prom in Space Ticket price: $35 per person (including fees) Ticket purchase gets you tasty food, open bar (cocktails, cider, beer and wine), and all the fun vibes to be had at the event. If you would like to BYOB, you can do that if you'd like, but know that your CRProm Committee has you covered :) What can you expect at the prom? In addition to food and drink, we planned some prom-esque activities, a raffle, music and other good times! Ticket prices will increase to $37 after April 29th, so be sure to get your tickets before then! We understand that as graduate students, finances can be limited.
