Join us on Friday, April 28th at the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills for the world premiere of Curbside Research Institute’s debut feature length film FRICK! - The Side Effects of Co-existing.
The night will feature a hardware dj set from friends and collaborators Eric Van Thyne and Chloe Corley as well as a Q&A with the cast & crew following the film. Tickets can be purchased below with donations also being accepted to support this self-funded, independent film.
FRICK! The side effects of co-existing explores the emotional complexities of friendship within a shared living space in Los Angeles. The friends are an eclectic group; Jacob a bullish friend always trying to decipher what’s right and what is wrong; driven by an insatiable desire to work and prove himself. Jack aloof in an undeniably lovable way; always willing to speak his mind. Carter a constant seeker prodding to understand all sides of living and loving others. Luke, a supreme devils advocate with a taste for jokes and wit. Bobby acts as a foil between all roommates. These complexities are shaken and eventually come to ahead with the introduction of Carly, a free-spirited, mystical soul whose presence acts as a powerful mirror for Jacob.
