Heart disease is the number one killer of women each year. Yet, many women do not understand their risk or realize how heart disease looks and feels different in women. Cardiovascular Institute of the South & Anderson Regional Health System understand the importance of awareness, prevention and education for women and heart disease. That's why we are proud to announce our Heels for Hearts: Women's Cardiac Wellness Social. Join us this Women’s Health Month (Thursday, March 18th) from 5:30 - 8 p.m. at the Anderson Regional Health System Café 'Morgan Room' (2124 14th Street, Meridian, MS 39301). This FREE evening event encourages women to get informed about their heart health and will include a Q&A session with a panel of physicians and wellness experts as well as a FREE heart-healthy dinner, interactive games, door prizes and so much more!
