Reading Meetup at the Garden

Join us for sunshine and stories! We’ll meet outside the visitor center/conservatory on the shaded patio by the water ball fountain. If you are inside the conservatory (the big plant room), you'll see this area through the glass doors. 2 p.m. Arrive and say hi. Feel free to come earlier to hang out or to scout out a great reading spot around the garden. 2:30 p.m. Quiet reading hour on the patio or your favorite garden spot. 3:30 p.m. Keep reading, call it a day, or catch up on the patio. The visitor center closes at 4:30pm but the garden is open until 7pm. What to bring: a towel, blanket, or tailgate chair (towel or blanket for grass, chairs on concrete only). Drinks or snacks. And a book! Sunglasses or hat is also not a bad idea if you are not in a shady area. RSVPs will help us estimate attendance and plan accordingly. If your plans change, please cancel your event registration. Thank you.
