Description

Purpose of the Conference: To expand attendees awareness and understanding of autism spectrum disorders, to encourage networking, and to offer attendees opportunities to respond to relevant questions, as well as to improve physicians’ access to care for patients. This will be accomplished by providing information related to resources, interventions, practices, and recent protocols available in the local and surrounding areas via literature, organizations, and support groups. Thus, information will be provided to physicians, psychologists, social workers, nurses, teachers, parents, caregivers and family members to better help the individuals with ASD and their families. These presentations will offer continuing education credits: 4.00 AMA PRA Category 1 credits Audience: Attendees will consist of at least 100 professionals including, but not limited to, physicians, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and teachers; as well as people on the autism spectrum, parents, caregivers and family members.
