The Conference includes the following key objectives How to effectively preach about justice issues in a manner that teaches in a deep manner about scripture - Facilitated by Dr. Tyshawn Gardner - Associate Professor of Biblical and Religious Studies and Director of the Pre-ministerial Scholars Program, Beeson Divinity School of Samford University. An analysis regarding factors that drive racism and economic injustices in Alabama - Facilitated by Cassandra Jones, National Organizing Director/Southeast Regional Lead, Faith in Action National and Faith in Action Alabama Staff.How through Faith in Action Alabama congregations can build an infrastructure that translates the prophetic teachings into action. Concrete steps we can take to build a powerful movement leading into the 2026 gubernatorial election.Those registered will receive a hotel stay for the nights of June 11 and June 12 at no cost to them.
