General Mitchell Air National Guard Base, Milwaukee, Wis.—The 128TH Air Refueling Wing will host the country’s largest, on-base dining celebration of Armed Forces Week with the 41st Annual Civic Dinner Dance at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, sponsored by the 128TH Civic Dinner Dance Committee, Inc. This year’s theme Honoring Our Military by Remembering the Cold War. The guest speakers will be Sean Elliott, Vice President Advocacy and Safety Experimental Aircraft Association, and Chris Henry, EAA Aviation Museum Staff Member, who will share aviation history during the Cold War. South Milwaukee has been selected as the honored community, recognizing Chet Grobschmidt as the honored citizen by the Civic Dinner Dance Committee. Featured music will be provided by the Oak Creek High School Jazz Band with partnership of the Oak Creek Choir. Post-dinner entertainment will be provided by The Sensations. Tickets must be purchased by May 4, 2023.
