The YMCA Fairfax County Reston is hosting its annual Healthy Kids Day® on April 29th starting at 10 AM. This free, annual event features all sorts of family-friendly activities to encourage healthy kids, healthy families, and a healthy start to the summer season. Splash with a mermaid (11am- Noon), enjoy face painting, a tie dye demo, grab snacks at our Fruit Farmstand and Trail Mix Station, and join in our Family Exercise Classes. Grab a piece of fresh fruit, courtesy of the American Heart Association, and get up-to-date on important vaccines provided by Giant Pharmacy. Parents can also learn about summer camp offerings, childcare, sports teams, and programs that help kids stay healthy all summer, and all year long! Advanced registration is quick, easy and required. Everyone is welcome, but we request that members of the community register in advance to help YMCA staff make sure there’s plenty of snacks and prizes to go around. RSVP today!
