About Eternal Seeds // Eternal Seeds is a community-based nonprofit that serves artists in New Orleans. We center all of our work around education, empowerment, and the preservation of New Orleans Black history and culture, with a focus on young and emerging artists. Harnessing the power of creative expression and community, we provide young and emerging artists with tools they need to become the revolutionary leaders and shapers of a more just, equitable, and artful world. About The Death Of My Two Fathers // “What we don’t heal, what we don’t confront, we pass on.” Filmmaker Sol Guy. After 20 years, Sol Guy finally watches his late father’s tapes and embarks on a journey of healing and reconciliation. At once a conversation between past and present and a letter to Sol's children, The Death Of My Two Fathers reveals the complexities of identity, racial trauma, and fatherhood -- as well as the liberation that exists in facing our own mortality. The Death Of My Two Fathers is now playing on PBS’ World Channel. About Studio BE // Since 2016, Studio BE has developed itself as a landmark and cultural destination in New Orleans. A product of alchemy, a space for artists and the things they create. A space for the local community and the culture that comes from it , and a welcomed space for visitors across the globe - a place all those voices go to sharpen their critical voice and imagine a future that benefits us all. Through intentional programming, workshops, exhibitions, and resource allocation, Studio BE’s mission is rooted in the belief that the blueprint for a better tomorrow lives in the collective imagination. Our work serves to promote the advancement of artists and engage in society’s most urgent questions. Brandan “BMike” Odums is a New Orleans-based visual artist who, through exhibitions, public programs, and public art works, is engaged in a transnational dialogue about the intersection of art and resistance. From film to murals to installations, Odums’ work encapsulates the political fervor of a generation of Black American activists who came of age amidst the tenure of the nation’s first Black president, the resurgence of popular interest in law enforcement violence, and the emergence of the self-care movement.
